It was 1994 when we shyly begun the set up of a small stage in front of the villa, a few plastic tables and people sitting on the grass listening to the concert. Compare to now we were just a few!
Jazz & Image is the historical name of our festival that started focusing on the new international cinema realities, also launching a small short-movies festival that focused on jazz. Year after year you have been always more numerous and the artistic programme has become every year longer: the protagonists of the history of jazz have played on stage letting us feel vibrant emotions…. today our Festival is the longest one in Europe. In 2000 we moved to the Verzura Theatre, the bigger area of the Villa where we were able to give more space to the numerous fans that pay us a visit.
From 2005 we have found a new setting: you can enjoy the concerts in an open-air amphitheatre with a restaurant, a wine bar and an area reserved to culture and arts.
